95% of all werk numbers ranges are based on orders placed, and actual documented losses - not on the specific werk numbers made. I have never actually seen official documents from any wartime manufacture that states, "on this day we made werk # "X", and it was complete, transferred to unit "X". Well the Heinkel archive have a lot of documents as to when and were specific Wnr. were transferred, and also what happened to them, both for He 219 and also He 177. Besides that we have some FB's from FLÜG that show transfer of He 219.
And I see that you also have concluded that the Wnr found was not part of aircraft Wnr.
