Well, you could try to get the books by Jochen Prien on JG1/JG-11 for his time with JG-11. I think they were translated into English?
Also the JG-26 war Diary 1943-1944 by Caldwell, for his service with JG-26.
He started out w/II/JG-77 from 1938-1943 and to gets detail of his early service,the only source is J. Prien's JG-77 set,which is only in German.
