Well we got another picture around June 2011!
I saw that White(?) 218 without reacting but the scratches on cowling looking like an elephant on a trunk did remind me the picture in attachment...
... And a thread about what I was considering as three little cartoon figures (you know; that running dwarf bringing a little figure on a plate to a bigger character...
) under the G-6 MG 131 bulges!
I don't want to restart it!
If I agree with Ivan to say it's not a Bf 109 G-5, I do consider it's not a G-2 neither a G-4 but a G-6, at least.
I kept rough JG 52-seller-caption-bla-bla since this picture is not yet stored in my "normal" files.
Of course the picture doesn't show a JG 52 plane, not even an Erg. Unit Marc, better a JG 1xx one.
Note the date on picture I post: November 1944.
