Bruce,

I know it's just one fellow but can I put in a recommendation for Stewart Wilson's biography of Tony Gaze, "Almost Unknown".

Really wonderful read, Tony has had a real "Boy's Own" life and Wilson's book based largely on interviews with the man himself is well worth hunting down if you haven't already read it.
