Obviously, Gluchose should be Gluchoje.
There are a number of lakes with such name in north-western Russia.
1. In Gatschina (Krasnogwardejsk) area, Leningrad region.
2. In Pljussa area, Pskov area
3. Near Valdaj
Although, such name seems to be rather common for the lake. Gluchoje means "desolate", "remote", "god-forsaken", "dead" etc.
