Trying to find info. on Luftwaffe unit involved in action, Portsmouth, UK, August 16th 1940
Trying to find information on Luftwaffe unit involved in a skirmish on August 16th 1940, Portsmouth area of England

In that day's action Tim Elkington, RAF No.1 Squadron, was shot down and injured while engaged with a large number of enemy aircraft in the Portsmouth area.

I'm just wondering if there is any way of finding out which units/aircraft were involved and if any claims were made against Hurricane's that day?
