... One of the Stab/KG 26 aircraft was intercepted during its return flight by a patrolling Hudson of 233 Squadron, the British aircraft at once attacking and expending all its ammunition before breaking off the combat. The Heinkel was hit 20-30 times but was able, with the undercarriage shot-up, to crash-land, suffering 25% damage...."
