I also think this is an Ar 96 since the area behind the canopy looks slightly built up which fits the 96 and not 196. But as we all can see it is a first class photo (
) and our eyes usually see what we want to see...

Did these Laté 298 only pass Piraeus during July? Reason I ask is that there is also a second photo which is much worse but where a date is listed which I think could mean 1.12.1941....
