McILVEEN, John Davy
Peacefully at the Empress Kanata on Monday, April 14, 2008, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Minerva McCALPIN and father of Steven, Roy (Patricia,) Cathy (Joey LAVIGNE) and Dave (Erica), grandfather of Erin, Adam, Meg, Patrick, Dana, Myles, Iain, Ellen and Anne and great-grandfather of Jason and Blake. John served as Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Air Force 1941-45 and was held as a Prisoner of War 1944-45. He graduated from Queen's University in Civil Engineering, class of 48½, and had a long career as a professional engineer. At his request there will be no funeral service.
