The loss of Oblt. Fidorra is recorded as follows:

He seems to have been with the unit during Weserübung, and was as far as I can see wounded in action on April 11th 1940.

If you are willing to share more information from your records from your father I would be very interested in writing a bit on him on my blog, and it would be great if it could be possible for you to donate digital copies of your material to the museum at Sola, Stavanger.

There is also a possibility to donate collections in the Nachlass section at Bundesarchiv/Militärarchiv - both photographs and documents. For a lot of 'collectors' this is difficult as one has bits and pieces from different sources. But in your case you have the history and the names of the involved person( your father) and would by donating either digital copies or the originals to museums or archives ensure that these documents and photographs will be available for researchers and authors also in the future.

Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!
