Monterotondo, sept., 9th, 1943
Hello,
on Sept., 9th, 1943 the II/FJR 6 was dropped on Monterotondo (near Rome) to seize the High Command of the Regio Esercito. According to various sources 1-3 Ju52 were shot down by Italian AAA.
I'd like to know how many Ju52 were shot down and of which unit they were part.
Any help is appreciated
