I much preferred Fortress to this to be honest (if by Fortress you are referring to the one about Brest-Litovsk). Admiral started promisingly but then just seemed to grind on. It is obvious that it is a mini-series cut down to allow a release as a film so can't comment on what it would be like in its full length. There are plenty of war (or historical related) films that I can watch again and again but this isn't one of them. Overall I'd give it 1.5 to 2 out of 5.
