Thanks for the nice note about copyright. This photograph was taken by four men. Three in front of the camera and one behind it. All four were pilots with JG 2 in Nidda at this Time. Together they flew the Bodenplatte Mission on 1. January 1945. One was shot down on 13. March 1945 and died. Three men survived the war. One died at age 60 in 1980. One died in the 2008th. One of them is still alive. The film with 16 photos of this winter day in Nidda with 16 photos has long been stored at the hosts until he came to development.
