The airplane they flew was a Ju-88 G-6 with Werkstattnummer 621291.
On 6-1-1945 the aircraft was on a operational flight when it crashed at Ringe Mark approximately 10 kilometers east of Bogense, Denmark at 21:30 hrs. The pilot and crew had to bail out. They were slightly injured for which they were treated in hospital in Odense, Denmark.
