Hi,

on 24.7.43 four P-39`s from 16 GIAP were scrambled to cover Slawinskaja airfield (18.55-19.37 hrs). The P-39 (L-1 no.24699) of Ml.Lt. Czikmariew was shot down by enemy fighter. The aircraft crashed 6 km NW of Marianskaja (?) hamlet. The pilot was killed.
