Salut Franck,
in the book "Das Jagdgeschwader 51" by Stipdonk and Meyer we learn that this was the Staffelemblem from 6./JG 51 as long as Priller was leading it. He already bore it on his plane "Winkel +" when at Gruppenstab I./JG 51 in Mannheim-Sandhofen 1939, and introduced it in 6. Staffel when he took comand.
