Do217 Wreck (!) - further details
Hi Marc, Revi16 and all the other,
No numbers or other markings can be found in the photos:
There are 5 photos in this series, but only one shows the wreck, 4 shows the destroyed (? Peiler-) barrack.
It seems the Do217 crashed into the barrack, broke into pieces and the fuselage and other smaller parts flew about 50m behind the barrack.
Maybe it was an accident when landing in the darkness then?
The Do 217 is quite more rare than the Bf110, with the further details about the crash circumstances there is maybe a real chance to find out place / date...?!
