Re: Ju87 massacre on 5/4/44?

I've been using the DD-MMM-YY format for years in my Access database. This is a parameter that can set in any Microsoft OS. Once set, as far as sorting by date, it works fine. I don't have to enter dates in the DD-MMM-YY format - a DD-MM-YY entry converts to the DD-MMM-YY in the actual displayed entry and you don't need to add leading zeroes. Stating the obvious - an entry of 6-6-43 will convert and display as 06-Jun-43.

So far, this date format has been recognizable by other MS OS machines where I've copied and opened my db set for a different date format and changes the date display correctly to that format.
