Larry, the first image below, from the left, is V4+J?, but I think it carries the 3./KG1 'Eagle and Lion' insignia on the forward fuselage under the canopy glazing. I think we see the top, rear edges of the eagle's wings. Not sure if this is the one you were referring to, but I included it in case you've not seen it before.

From your description of "the individual letter which appears to be black not white or yellow. Aircraft is complete and appears to have suffered fighter damage", I have a set showing V4+KL which might match the description and have included a few of the clearer ones below. I should add that the source website for this image gives the location as Beaumont, but not sure how reliable that might be.
