Yes, indeed. But Chris doesn't know anymore than what I've already posted. He actually emailed me today that he's trying to find the USAAF report that lists this aircraft loss. Maybe that will reveal if the pilot was lost with this machine - ???
Chris has also sent me pieces of the spinner from this aircraft. Excited to see those! If it looks like the Ju 88 spinner he sent me previously it'll look like a flattened burnt pizza - but we'll see.
