Operation Avalanche/Luftwaffe Losses.

Hi Guys,
Could anyone in the forum point a novice researcher in the best direction to discover more information about three perticular lost Luftwaffe bombers (Crew names, Airfields flown from e.t.c.) downed by Beaufighters flying from Bo-Rizzo, Sicily in September and October 1943.

Reading the combat reports from 255 Sqn the three aircraft concerned were,

1) Ju88, 8th Sept 1943, Destroyed by Beaufighter V1f at 21:45 Hrs (Crashed into the Tyrrhenian Sea 3 miles South of Capri).

2) Me210, 10th Sept 1943, Destroyed by Beaufighter V1f at 02:30 Hrs (Crashed Lago-Paola, Italy).

3) Ju88, 23rd Oct 1943, Destroyed by Beaufighter V1f at 18:55 Hrs (Crashed South of the River Volturno, Italy).

I would think that knowing the airfields these aircraft flew from would be a good place to start? if this information is within the forum's collective data-base, or if someone could suggest where I could start to look I would be very happy to hear.

Kindest Regards,
Graham.
