Oh, I don't know, Larry. Why do you say he's "conning" others? I rather think of it as putting (selling) a wee bit of vicarious excitement into people's lives -- and perhaps engendering a little more interest in the air war in the Southwest Pacific in WW II.
And to change the subject to another "Lost Aircraft" search, has anyone heard of the latest from TIGHAR about the search for Amelis Earhart?
