This fits my hypothesis: that Do 217K-3 WkNr 4749 (Vbkz 6N+HR and Skz RI+RW) was one of the last of these aircraft to be transferred to III./KG 100. I suspect it did not arrive in III./KG 100 until after November 1943 and perhaps as late as May 1944. There is no way it could have participated in the attack on Roma.
