Re: Information concerning loss of Leutnant Rudolf Huttner- England - 08.05.1942
Fell to a Beaufighter of 29 Sqd. flown by P/O Carr and F/Sgt Whitby at 0245hrs on 8-5-42 crashing 4 miles east of Ashford, while on mission to Chatham. All six crew baled out but Huttner and Ofw. Richard Brohm were 'Killed on landing' according to crash report ( assumed chute failure or bad landings )
