AFAIK the unit of Kapitan Babaylov was 163 GVIAP...
He was killed in combat on 14/10/1944, apparently his aircraft was damaged and he was wounded in air combat over Poland, and, while attempting to make it back to his base, he fell in an AAA-heavy zone when crossing the frontline, and was shot down in flames.
His airplane apparently crashed in Taranovo-Toski near Zambruv (?, sorry, I just transliterrated the russian name, it's probably called otherwise in Polish...).
