Hi,
In both photos, there is light reflection and optical illusions in effect.
The first pic has a lot of water spray and reflection...giving the effect that the cowl is larger and a different shape. Howeever, it is exactly the same engine and cowling.
That last pics again...same engines (BMW801) and cowl. The right engine looks larger, as it is close in the photo.
