Re: Looking for fate of Junkers W34 CA+VM
That is indeed surprizing news, very good, I hope it is in such a condition to be salvageable and restorable. Not many Ju W 34 still around - of 2,308* produced - only three complete ones exist, the 2718 CF-ATF in Canada, the 2823 "407" in Columbia and the 2835 SE-BYA in Sweden. Am I missing out on some more? *own figure. Subject to change if better info comes to light.
I have it most/all W 34 could be "(see)" variant, as it was multi purpose aircraft - skis, floats or wheels, only matter of fitting the floats, and the larger vertical fin/rudder. The W 34 hi had BMW 132 A engines.
Tom, you write confusing. Was this two "batches" 2867 to 2869 (3 aircraft) and 2884 to 2886 (3 aircraft) or only these four W.Nr.īs (2867, 2869, 2884 and 2886)
