Jim, I think "301232" did not exist (likely "in blank block"). No real reason to doupt the (A-4) 0881232 M7+HK 28.08.1941 2./KGr 806 loss, and have no info on it having but that number - nor retrived or repaired, so that leaves
only ATG assembled A-4 W.Nr. (088014)1232 (this had 40 % Er dam at Foggia a year earlier). So more than "two digits" missing.
Besides the I/NJG 7 was ex-III/KG 3 if anyone wonders, an former Ju 88 A-4 Bomber unit, starting out with 41 Ju 88 A-4 and one Ju 88 C-6 in January 1944.
