Ju88 kill by 29 Sqn. 17/18 June 1944
Hi,
On the night of 17/18th June 1944 F/Sgt. J. C. Johnson of 29 Squadron shot down a Ju88 60 miles south of the beachhead. Is it possible to identify the Ju88?
Johnson was airborne from West Malling at 22.49 and he landed back at 02.12 and contact was made with the Ju88 at 00.40.
