In a history book about the village of Ospringe it says "An enemy fighter brought down at Elverland Farm, the unknown German buried in Ospringe Church yard on October 2nd 1940".
I've made research into fighters that fell within the village of Ospringe but the only found one record of a man named Eric Clauser who is now buried in German War Cemetery.

Is the this most likely just an error on the book's behalf as Clauser was killed on 20th September so the dates add up, or is it someone else?
