Re: Lt Wolfgang Wenning

That clarifies things. At this point we now have for this name:

WENNING, Wolfgang. (DOB: 1920). 10.07.42 Lt., 1./NJG 2 unhurt - Ju 88C-2 ditched at sea due to engine trouble - rescued 30 km S of Crete. 20.07.42 Lt., 1./NJG 2 MIA - Ju 88 C-6 (R4+SH(JH?)) combat with a Beaufighter over sea while escorting a Ju 52 from Malemes/Crete to Tobruk.
WENNING, Wolfgang. (DOB: 27.11.22). (n.d.) with 16./KG 2. 12.04.44 Lt., 6./KG 51. 27.04.44 Lt., 6./KG 51 KIA - Me 410 A-1 (9K+ZP) collided with an Airspeed Oxford of no. 18 (P) AFU vic Lawford/UK. Credited with 7 aerial victories.
WENNING, Wolfgang. 21.09.41 Lt., IV./KG 54 WIA - Ju 88 A-5 in a belly-landing during an exercise flight due to a servicing error.

My question is: is the KG 54 guy the same as the KG 51 guy? I expect so.

Any comments?
