Info needed on 2 Luftwaffe Pilots Deserters
I am seeking information regarding the Lufwaffe unit or the sqd as well final fates of Obergefreiter Emil Praeger (pilot ) and Flieger Friedrich Rietz (pilot ). Both escaped on 22.5.'43 the Wehrmacht investigative arrest prison in Tarnowitz, travelled through Bucharest and Kertch (Crimea) by train and then both arrested again at Smolensk while Praeger managed to overcome the arrest by escaping during which he shot one of the Whermacht Feldjandarms who attempted to detain him.
Any info on both will be appreciated
