Fw190D-9 at Pretzsch
Hello,
reading Helmut Reiche's "Kampfeinsätze der Helbig-Flyers 1944/45" I came across two pictures of a Fw190D-9 undergoing maintenance at Pretzsch in the spring of 1945. Remarkable is that all the mechanics are female auxiliaries!
I am a bit curious about the location of the pictures; Pretzsch was a base for parts of IV./EJG1 and III./JG110 in 1945, but to my knowledge these units were not equipped with Fw190D's. Maybe another member of the forum has further information or ideas about its unit affiliation.
