I am trying to find out whether a Combat Report or Operational Record Book entry (or equivalent) exists for the following Luftwaffe flights and if so how might I get hold of a copy, would it be held at the Bundesarchiv Freiburg?

Specifically, on 15/16 August 1943 Dornier 217s from III/KG2 moved from Glize en Rijen airfield to the forward base of Dreux for a night time attack on Portsmouth. On the return from Portsmouth 2 of the Dorniers from 8 Staffel were shot down by enemy fire.

- Do 217 / 56 054 / U5+CS / crashed 5km south of Saint Andre-de-L’Eure / pilot Franz Bosbach survived but the rest of his crew were killed

- Do 217 / 56 121 / U5+ES / crashed 15km NW Evreux / pilot Fw Theodor Esslinger and all crew killed

As Bosbach survived the incident I am hoping a Combat Report or something similar describing this incident exists.
