Correct is Ju 88 D-1 (VS 11 wood props) for the Auschner crash, and visible on photos of that crash

But before another (30 Er) crash (on 30.10.1942) it was Ju 88 D-5 version (VDM metal props). There are many cases of Ju 88 D-5īs becoming Ju 88 D-1īs after repairs.
