Many thanks. I am researching the Algerian politician-soldier Ahmed Ben Bella who was a Sergent serving in the 141e RIA in June 1940, but apparently attached to a DCA Battery. He received the Croix de Guerre avec palme for shooting down an "Stuka" in June 1940 during a bombing raid on Marseilles. This appears to be the only instance of a German aircraft being shot down.
