Re: Does anyone know if the FB of Lt/Oblt Gerhard Granz of 1./JGr102 and 1./ZG2 has survived?

John,

Thanx. I guess then it's down to whether anyone has any photos of Ganz's Bf109D-1 from that period with him as the confirmed pilot. It has been suggested that this was "White 11," but I have no idea of the reliability of this info. He was very likely a flight leader, and I need to know if his a/c carried command bands on the rear fuselage, as other flight leaders in the unit were known to have done during the Polish Campaign period. "White 2" is a known example of a 1 Staffel flight leader that carried those bands, but they aren't present on a photo of "White 11" in the EoE photo collection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as we're working on the I./ZG 2 - I./JGr102 Color Profile packages right now.

Regards,
