Regarding Prien, JFV 9/II, p.181, is it the Bf 109F-4/R1, W.Nr.13233, from 9./ JG 3. Pilot, Gefr. Adalbert Kuhn, is missing. Prien doesn't believe that's an desertation but an misorientation and an lack of fuel. He doesn't believe the desertation because Kuhn and the second pilot Uffz. Erich Volkmann (Bf 109F-4/Z, W.Nr.7640, yellow 12") didn't worked in NKFD later and didn't returned from Russia after the war.
