eArticle 'Camouflage Commentary 1' is now available

Hi everyone,

Air War Publications is very pleased to announce our latest release of a new electronic article by well-known Luftwaffe camouflage and markings expert David E. Brown. He’s dealt with a JG 26 Fw190 A-8 that has often appeared in books over the years, and finally solves the mystery of its code colour and unit assignation. The aircraft is also used by David as an excellent example of the use of colour RLM 77 in Luftwaffe camouflage schemes. David’s theory is a relatively recent one, and adds to the long-running debate on the paint colours used by German aircraft during the Second World War. Claes Sundin has provided some excellent profiles to illustrate David’s theory. We hope this is the first in a line of Luftwaffe camouflage commentaries.

Coming up next are the following eArticles:
  • Wüstennotstaffel – Part One by Adam Thompson and Andrew Arthy
  • The Sinking of LST-158 by Andrew Arthy and Morten Jessen
  • Henschel Hs 123 – The Small Soldier by Morten Jessen
After a lengthy silence we are glad to be able to announce some new releases, and hope that they are enjoyed by our readers. Don't forget to sign up for our newsletter or visit our blog.

All the best,
Andrew & Morten
