I had not thought to look at US losses, however was surprised that the 52nd FG were so far north, had always thought of them as a group in the N.African/Italian Areas. So thank you for the info.
One other that I have is a 55th FG loss, 44-63567on Feb 20th,45. although the MACR witness has last seen as some miles away, the German report within the macr states place of crash as Renningen, pilot pow.
But still no RAF fighter - yet.
Spitfire, Typhoon or Tempest ?
