More than "yet another book" about the air war in North Africa, Palermo's rigorous research and analysis bring out new facets of the campaign and yield fresh insights. Some connoisseurs of air-to-air combat might think the subject has already been beaten to death, but this work disproves that theory. With Eagles over Gazala, Palermo puts all the raw data under a microscope and takes the entire genre to a new, rigorous, deeper level of understanding.

I summarise: Everybody must buy this book.
You can do so here, or on Amazon:

At EUR 8.99 from the publisher it is a steal. I spend more money on coffee most days.
All the best
