Hello,
According to
http://www.wiki.luftwaffedata.co.uk/...e=I/KG.z.b.V_1, in early October 1941 I/KG.z.b.V 1, based at Riga, was hauling troops and supplies into Lyuban airfield, SE of Leningrad, and evacuating wounded on the return flight. On 2 October two Ju 52s were shot down in the vicinity of Lyuban airfield. Both were 100% losses, but both crews bailed out and were safe.
I checked
http://www.airwar.ru/history/av2ww/a...-10-10-41.html to have more details about these two aircraft. This site is listing German losses in the east, without crew names, but in this case as there was no casualty. The two aircraft are there, WNr
6469 and 6487, but according to this list, if the crew of the former was unhurt, there were four dead when 6487 was shot down.
Can someone confirm the fate of the crew/passengers of Ju 52 WNr 6487 and give me the names of the eventual casualties ?
Thanks in advance
