Possible Fairey Battle claim by Bf 109/Bf 110 units, 16-20 June 1940.
Hallo,

I have found a reference to a Fairey Battle shot down in France by a Bf 109 or a Bf 110 (the sources differ) on 16 June 1940. All Fairey Battle units were supposed to have left France for the UK by 15 June 1940 and they did not begin operations again until late July 1940.
I have checked the Tony Woods claim lists and found nothing. If anyone has access to more recent research (e.g. Jochen Prien's JFV series) could they please check if any Battles were claimed in the 16-20 June 1940 period.
