But Dan O'Connell has also: "130126 Me 262 A-2a. Assigned to 3./KG 51. Uffz. Herbert Schauder, was
killed as he was shot down by German flak near Arnheim on 12 September 1944. 9K+AL. See W. Nr. 130026."
I have some questions that could help finding more evidence for the WNr. in the wreckage.
Is there a WNr plate in the frame of an Me 262?
What would be the location of the WNr plate in the frame of an Me 262?
And does anyone has an example of an WNr plate from an Me 262?
With regards,
Jaap
