Small loss issue possibly solved, Bf 109 F-4/trop in JG 53
Hi, guys.
A possibility for a small correction of what seemed to be a duplicate loss record possibly solved by an eBay auction. Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-4/trop WNr 10194 was reported damaged in bomb raids by III./JG 53 and Stab/JG 53 within a month at the same airfield in North Africa:

and I wonder if this is really the damage reported by Stab/JG 53 on August 8th 1942 - they have simply switched the last two digits in the loss report.
It seems this aircraft captured by the allies, any reports on it?

Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!
