Very nice work and a touching tribute to a fallen warrior.

Regarding the component seen in your next-to-the-last photograph, the initial digit 9 of its Gerät-Nr. indicates that this is an engine component. The Hersteller code bjp = Bosch, Robert GmbH, Flugmotoren-Telle u.-Zuberhör, Stuttgart 1, Militärstr. 4 [BW].

The only other “bjp” photo reference in my files is a part of the fuel injection system of a Jumo 211. I am certain that one of our members will be able to tell you exactly what component you have discovered.
