Re: Johann Krug in SCW
Any chance that Johann Krug was from Austria or Switzerland? Or even US citizen with German family background? They may have labelled him simply as a "German" for his family name and background although he was not German citizen. This could explain why he was not in the ranks of Legión Condor.
The browsing of Spanish websites of SCW gave no result on J. Krug. It seems that it is difficult to dig info about him. Some expert historian with much knowledge on the pilots of Aviación Nacional might help.
