Re: He 59N information

4 October 1939 Seenotstaffel 1 Heinkel He59N (1853). Overturned on landing in rough seas at Norderney 10.00 a.m. FF [ ] Kahl and FF Fw Gustav Stiefel (passenger) both believed unhurt. Aircraft WL+AEAS 95% damaged - write-off.
Does anyone have the rank & fore-name of this pilot please ?

27 June 1940 I can find no details of D-ADIT - presumably a loss by a non-operational unit ?

20 July 1940 SeenotflugKdo 4 Heinkel He59C-2 (0838). Abandoned by crew while being shepherded towards the English coast by of Green Section of No.238 Squadron (F/O Hubbard, P/O Grier, and P/O Doulton) during search mission for missing 3./JG27 pilots three miles off Cherbourg 7.20 p.m. FF Fw Herbert Degel baled out but killed, BO Fw Gustav Luppe, BF Gefr John-Werner Rosenthal, and BM Hptgefr Peter Filz all baled out and missing. Aircraft D-AKAR 100% write-off.
The crew baled out too low for their parachutes to deploy. The body of Herbert Degel was washed ashore at Mers-les-Bains, Le Tréport, on August 20.
I show this as a C-2 rather than N sub-type. Can someone please confirm one way or another ?

16 June 1941 My records do not extend beyond December 1940.
