There are two German repositories that would have some information on Alfred Sander: (1) WASt in Berlin, but they would generally only provide the information to family members; (2) the Bundesarchiv-Militaerarchiv (BA-MA) in Freiburg im Breisgau. The BA-MA information would be personal and service data entered on cards (Karteikarten) that were maintained on all aircrew personnel. You could e-mail BA-MA and ask for copies, but your chance of success would be very poor. However, you could engage (hire) a German researcher accredited to BA-MA to obtain the copies for you, probably for not more than 60 quid.
