I have followed with interest and appreciation the postings concerning the crash of a Ju 52/3mg8e into high ground near Orsova, Roumania, on 10.05.44.
My interest centers on the particular Ju 52/3m involved in the mishap. Matti has offered the WNr. 501 326 for the airplane. BA-MA 9/77, Entry 334, however, records 501 325. Can we get a verification or clarification as to correct Werknummer? And, in connection with this, what can be said about the Stammkennzeichen?
